Rebounders Gymnastics Girls Team Program Description

Rebounders’ Team Programs are year-round, invitation-only programs designed for athletes who are ready to take their gymnastics to the next level.

We offer Pre-Team programs and USAG Developmental and Xcel programs. Recreational students may be invited to join a team track at any point throughout the year based on their skills, progress, and readiness.

We also host an annual Team Tryout, typically held in the spring, which is open to all eligible students interested in joining a competitive team program.

Team athletes typically compete in 5–8 meets throughout the season, with opportunities to travel and compete at a State Championship if they qualify. Meet schedules and travel requirements vary by team and level.

Rebounders Team Invitation Process

1. Invitation
Gymnasts may be invited to a team track by a team coach who identifies their potential while observing them in a recreational class, through our annual Team Tryout, or if they are transferring from another competitive team.

2. Trial Week
Invited gymnasts will receive an email with information about attending a one-week team trial. New families who have not previously participated at Rebounders must complete the required family information and release forms, pay the annual activity fee, and pay the $75 trial week fee before attending.

3. Coach Recommendation
At the conclusion of the trial week, the coach will communicate with the family and recommend the best next step for the gymnast. This may include acceptance to a team, additional private lessons to prepare for team, or returning to our recreational program.

4. Team Acceptance & Commitment
If accepted to a team, families will receive information regarding practice schedules, required equipment and attire, tuition, parent club requirements, communication apps, time commitments, and meet schedules. Team gymnastics is a year-long commitment for both the gymnast and family. Families should be prepared to commit to consistent attendance, practice expectations, team responsibilities, and the competitive season before accepting a team position.

5. Team Handbook & Contract
Before joining the team, parents must review the Rebounders Team Handbook and sign the Team Year Contract. These outline important team expectations, policies, meet guidelines, financial responsibilities, and family commitments.

6. Enrollment & Tuition
The Team Director will provide information regarding monthly tuition and the program transfer process for gymnasts currently enrolled in a Rebounders class.

7. Health Forms
Once accepted, families will receive the required health forms, which must be completed to continue.

Frequently Asked Questions

The activity fee is an annual charge applied to all students in our recreational programs, private lessons, and sensory motor lessons. The fee is $25 for the first student and $15 for each additional student, with a maximum of $100 per family. It is charged at checkout upon registration and will renew annually in January.
The funds collected from this fee help maintain and improve our facility, ensuring our equipment stays in top condition and the gym remains a safe, fun environment for all students.

The program is designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years, fostering physical, cognitive, and social development through fun and engaging gymnastics activities.

The goal is to build gross and fine motor skills, cognitive concepts, language, and social skills, leading to greater independence and confidence. Children progress through increasingly challenging tasks to prepare for independent participation in the Preschool Gymnastics Program by age 4.

No, our facility is strictly nut-free to ensure the safety of all children. We ask that all snacks and lunches brought into the center do not contain nuts or any products processed in facilities that handle nuts. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

Classes begin with a warm-up featuring energetic music and stretches, then rotations through the different gymnastics events, such as floor, vault, beam, and bars. The parent-child and preschool classes complete activities using preschool-sized gymnastics equipment to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, body awareness, and listening skills. Parents participate by learning safe spotting techniques and supporting their toddlers until preschool level, which is independent.
